Amélie Gaulier is a white bodied ciswoman living NYC (Turtle Island/USA). A certified instructor with MNDFL, she is also trained as Body-Mind Centering® practitioner and is a Somatic Movement Therapist member of ISMETA. Amélie’s wellbeing approach weaves trauma-informed approaches and Body-Mind Psychotherapy tools to nurture individual and collective paths of care, deep listening, and creative expression. Creating customized sessions, training and frameworks to support accessing one's body wisdom and collecting its stories with compassionate presence, playfulness and curiosity is how her work is oriented. Bringing her passion as a Mindfulness instructor, coach and facilitator, Amélie nurtures art and ethics practices and looks at helping clients integrate from the inside out of their embodied self, how they are impacted by their social and cultural environment, to allow change and transformation to take place with authenticity and trust. Amelie completed a Masters Research Degree at the INSPE / UPEC, National Institute of Professorship and Education in Paris; her research focuses on enactive pedagogy, embodied cognition and decolonial practices. The Master ArtEnact focused on the engineering and training practices in art, pedagogy and neuroscience.
