Accepting new couples & individual therapy clients. All sessions are virtual. Are you looking for a more embodied, connected, and fulfilling life? Maybe you tried traditional talk therapy before but found it wasn’t enough. If you are seeking lasting, holistic personal growth and are open to working on it, consider my integrated mind-body-soul approach. I can help you develop your inner resources to navigate stressful periods; balance your nervous system; communicate clearly and effectively; tend to unprocessed grief; understand your inner conflicts, mood changes, unexpressed creativity, soul longings; and more.
I am clinically trained in Psychodynamic, Somatic, and Experiential approaches to therapy, including Hakomi, Gestalt, Sensorimotor, and Clairvoyant psychotherapy. With my extensive certifications in trauma-conscious yoga, somatic movement, herbalism, dance, and mindfulness, I offer holistic healing with a direct understanding of artists and creatives.
I use a supportive, heart-centered, anti-racist lens rooted in energy work and movement-based approaches to healing. I am a women’s circle facilitator and member. I’m also a dedicated mother, daughter, wife, environmentalist, and the Co-Founder of Shadowlight Center, a mind-body-spirit therapy practice.
I am starting two new women's groups this fall; one called The Nest, is in-person in Maine, and the other, Be Known, is online. Some information is below and details can be found on my website www.shadowlightcenter.com (or by following the links below).
The Nest is an in-person therapy group for women who want a place to slow down, move, talk, and listen, prepare the body for the demands of life, and to work with whatever this season of life is bringing up. Gentle prenatal and postpartum yoga as well as somatic tools from Tami Lynn Kent's books Wild Feminine and Wild Mothering, are woven into the group psychotherapy itself, so that the emotional and relational work of becoming a mother can happen in the body as well as in words.
In person in Waldoboro. Starting November 2. To learn more about the group, click here. Reach out to Corinne for more details.
If you're in crisis, or having thoughts of harming yourself or your baby, please don't wait for a group. Call or text 988, or the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline at 1-833-852-6262, any time of day.
Be Known is for women who are open and curious, and who are willing to be emotionally honest in the company of other women. Most of all, this group is for women who sense there is more to be had in their relationships than they are getting, but who don't quite know how to get there.
Online via Zoom. Starting November 5. To learn more about the group, click here. Reach out to Corinne for more details.
