About Me
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist group analyst (in training), and trauma-informed practitioner offering an embodied, relational approach to therapeutic work. My practice is grounded in the understanding that our emotional and relational lives are shaped not only by early experiences, but also by unconscious processes that take root in the body and are lived out in patterns of connection, disconnection, and defence. I work with clients to bring compassionate awareness to these patterns as they emerge in the therapeutic relationship and in the body.My orientation is broadly psychodynamic and relational, with a strong emphasis on embodied process. I attend to the interplay between unconscious dynamics, somatic experience, and sociohistorical context, creating a therapeutic space in which clients can explore the deeper layers of their experience. Our work unfolds at the pace of the nervous system. I offer a calm, attuned presence and work compassionately and relationally. My approach is non-pathologising and exploratory, with a commitment to fostering embodied agency and restoring the capacity for feeling, relating, and being.
