About Me

Adena is a somatic sexologist and intimacy coach for women and vulva-owners. She has been working to empower women around their bodies since 2015, and previously ran a maternal health company prior to coaching. She works with women to rewrite their stories and heal patterns in love, sex, confidence and relationships.

Adena uses the lens of intimacy as a means of accessing deep internalized beliefs that keep us small and get in the way of us living our most fulfilled lives. Using somatic, or body-centered, approaches she helps her clients learn to connect to their inner wisdom, release shame, restore a connection to their body, tap into their innate well of erotic energy, and clear blockages that keep them from loving connection, joy, and deep physical pleasure. Her work aims to help clients step into their authentic selves, reclaim their sexual story, find their voice, know their worth, and experience the pleasure and aliveness that only comes from an unbounded expression of one’s fullest self.

Adena is a sexologist trained through the Somatica Institute, accredited by the American Board of Sexology, in addition to extensive coursework in somatic trauma therapies, parts work, tantra, and embodiment. Her approach is different than traditional talk therapy in that she relies on the wisdom of the body paired with experiential practice as the foundation for healing. She currently sees clients virtually from all over the world, and in-person in Manhattan.
