Hello, I’m Sara. I am an advanced EFT Tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Matrix Reimprinting practitioner as well as a Focalizing practitioner. I help clients build a tender relationship with their inner child, because it is my own relationship to my inner girl that made me fall in love with life again. I guide clients to kindly, softly reconnect with their inner child, with the parts of them that had long been silenced, shamed, or overlooked. 

Unhealed trauma means our present relationships often trigger us, pulling us back emotionally to unresolved pain. Inner child therapy is a therapeutic approach that helps us reconnect with emotions tied to past experiences we registered as traumatic. It creates a safe internal space where we can begin to step out of survival mode.

I use guided visualisations to access the core beliefs, fears, shame-based identifications, patterns, and coping mechanisms that were formed in moments of perceived threat in childhood. Within the visualisation itself, we offer the body - still holding the unresolved freeze response as if it were happening now - a unique form of resolution. This may arise as a unique remedy - a gesture, a sensation, an expression.
