Kathryn "Katie" Friel(She/her)

Counseling couples has inspired me in every way to be a better human. Some of the most amazing moments of my life have been witnessing the deep connection and love that can exist in a healthy partnership.

I hold a Masters in Science degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM.) I am an IFS Level 1 graduate and an advanced Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) practitioner. I have happily taken and enjoyed every IFIO training currently available and love utilizing this modality with my clients. I tend to treat overworkers, overproducers, couples who might be described as "power couples." It's always fascinating to witness people noticing that the power lies in authentic connection and self-compassion.

In addition to being a couples counselor, I run four IFS for Beginners group annually.

I have been teaching yoga since 1996 and enjoy integrating somatic work into every therapeutic offering.
