About Me
Somatic transformation for women ready to integrate insight with embodied change.
I work with clients navigating threshold moments—trauma recovery, midlife transitions, career shifts, migrations, or other life changes that leave the old world behind before the new one has taken shape.
These passages can be disorienting, reawakening old wounds or coping strategies that once helped us survive but no longer serve us.
Many of my clients are high-achieving women, healers, and change-makers who once relied on overwork or perfectionism to feel safe. If you are anything like them, you may be feeling a shift in your life, and you’re ready for a new way forward.
I also hold space for those who feel exiled from the dominant culture. In the words of Linda Thai, you may see yourself as a psychological refugee, no longer at home in the systems, roles, or identities you were raised in. You are searching for a new kind of belonging.
This work supports you to:
- Heal trauma reawakened by recent loss, life changes, or inherited family wounds.
- Strengthen your nervous system to navigate difficult environments with greater ease.
- Reclaim a sense of Self rooted in your truth, lived experience, and cultural identity.
- Engage the body as a pathway to healing at both personal and collective levels.
My approach integrates somatic awareness, narrative psychology, and Jungian-informed depth practices. I also draw from advanced training in several trauma healing modalities, including:
- Somatic EMDR: Integrates bilateral stimulation with somatic awareness to support the processing and integration of trauma held in the body.
- NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM): Addresses complex and developmental trauma, especially where identity, self-worth, and relational dynamics are involved.
- Decolonizing Attachment Theory: Explores how colonization, cultural rupture, and intergenerational trauma shape attachment, while supporting liberation, ancestral reconnection, and embodied resilience..
- Psychodrama: Uses guided role-play and experiential exercises to work through difficult interactions, express emotions, and resolve unfinished relational patterns.
As a Haitian American woman in midlife—and in a second career—I bring a unique blend of lived experience, academic depth, and global perspective to this work. I hold advanced degrees in Human Development and Jungian Psychology, and I’m currently completing a PhD in Human Development with a focus on coaching.
Earlier in my career, I earned a JD and spent over 20 years as an international trade lawyer and law professor. I have lived and traveled around the world, and I bring this perspective to my practice, which is rooted in cross-cultural insight and a deep respect for human complexity.
My standard coaching fee is $175 per session. I offer a free 30-minute inquiry call to see if working together would be a good fit.
