About Me

I am a body psychotherapist, ancestral lineage healer, and collective trauma practitioner whose work is rooted in deep trust in the body's wisdom and our innate capacity for healing, creativity, and transformation. I am interested not only in what has happened to you, but in what may have become constrained, silenced or left behind as you learned how to survive and belong in a world that may not have fully seen you.

For some of us, that story reaches beyond our individual lives. We carry the imprint of family and ancestry, culture and migration, race and identity, as well as the social and collective conditions that have shaped the worlds we inhabit. I hold these wider dimensions alongside the deeply personal and intimate experience of being human.

My approach is relational, creative and embodied. Rather than relying on words alone, I invite curiosity about what the body communicates—through sensation, movement, breath, emotion, image, impulse, and stillness. Our work may also draw upon expressive arts, imagination and creativity, in ways that respect your pace, boundaries and choice.

I don't approach therapy from the belief that there is something inherently wrong with you that needs to be fixed. I am interested in understanding how you came to be where you are, what your ways of coping may have protected, and what becomes possible when there is enough safety and space for something different to emerge.

At the heart of my work is relationship: being met with care, presence, honesty and respect. I believe healing can include learning to stay with difficult experience, but it is not only about tending to what hurts. It can also be about recovering what is alive — your voice, creativity, pleasure, dignity, power, spontaneity and capacity to feel and be fully yourself.

I was born in Trinidad in the Caribbean, and grew up in London, England. Living between cultures has profoundly shaped my understanding of identity, belonging and the complexity of finding one's place in the world. My work is culturally attuned, intersectional and decolonial, with particular sensitivity to the ways personal experience intersects with culture, history and systems of power.

Ultimately, I see this work as an invitation towards greater freedom: not becoming someone new, but perhaps coming more fully into relationship with who you have always been.
