About Me
They say the body is the temple of the soul; I think of myself as a temple renovator.
I began dancing at the age of 3. I became a professional modern dancer in my twenties. My art was hampered by excessive tension, both physically and emotionally generated. I tried many modalities in the attempt to free myself, but nothing made a substantial, lasting impact until I experienced Rolfing. Along with the physical changes, I was able to experience emotions I'd been numb to and, make progress in psychotherapy that had previously eluded me.
Eventually, I felt it was time to move on from being a performer, and I became a Certified Rolfer, now Certified Advanced.
I've also studied Craniosacral Therapy, Qi Gong, Sharon Wheeler's Scarwork and am a certified teacher of Judith Blackstone's Realization Process a method of nondual embodies meditation.
I am licensed as an Lmt, though I do not provide traditional massage.
