About Me

Hi, my name is Rie and I provide Embodied Antiracism coaching and workshops. I use an exciting new form called Social Presencing Theater (SPT) which applies mindful awareness of the body to personal, community, and global change-making. It focuses on letting go of what's got you feeling stuck in order to focus on the seeds of the emerging future. It's entirely compatible with Somatic Abolitionism/Cultural Somatics, in fact, I see it as a prerequisite for those of us who have grown up in the White/Euro-American dominant culture.

I remember how difficult it was for me to take in experiences different from my own when I started my journey to race-consciousness. Yet, I’ve always been a translator, a person who can bridge divides, carrying information back and forth to restore wholeness. Now I guide others along the journey.
