Healing is not a destination. It is a quiet, often invisible process of returning to ourselves, to the parts of us that were silenced, shamed, or scattered. It is not about fixing what is broken, but about making room for what was never allowed to breathe.
In my personal and professional journey, I have come to see healing not as the removal of pain, but as the transformation of our relationship with it. It is learning to sit beside what hurts without turning away. It is the slow, compassionate practice of listening; to the body, to the inner child, to the spaces where words have yet to reach.
I believe healing happens in connection. It unfolds in safe relationships, in the presence of someone who does not rush, who does not rescue, but simply remains. As a therapist, I strive to be that presence for others. And as a human being, I continue to offer that presence to myself.
My intention is to deepen my capacity to hold space for grief, for joy, for ambiguity. To understand more deeply the unconscious narratives that shape our choices, our fears, our longings. I want to walk alongside others not from a place of certainty, but from a place of shared humanity. Healing is not linear. It spirals, pauses, repeats. But with each step, we reclaim a little more of who we are. My path is to honor that process; gently, bravely, and wholeheartedly.
I was born and raised in Turkey, began my academic journey at Istanbul in an Anatolian High School, focusing on foreign languages. Awarded a scholarship, I pursued my BSc degree in Psychology at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom. During this time, I received specialized training in transgenerational family trauma and integrated this with her forensic focus, producing her first research on the intersection of criminal psychology and inherited trauma.
Motivated by observations and growing interest in the roots of psychological development, I completed a Postgraduate degree in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology at UoE. This marked a turning point in her professional identity, as she chose to specialize in childhood trauma and developmental psychology.

Currently, I continue my academic and clinical development in Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology within the NDCN (Neuroscience Department of Clinical Neurodevelopment) research labs.
I work in London as both a researcher and therapist at a private clinic. In addition to my clinical and academic roles, I provide supervision to professionals in the fields of trauma and attachment. I regularly offer online seminars and educational programs. Currently based in London.
